First look at our new Exclusive Tula Carrier, with a chance to win one!

I’m so excited to introduce you to our newest exclusive, this gorgeous Tula carrier!

Our new Tula features this gorgeous fabric from Cotton + Steel’s Bluebird collection, called Mystery Food Pearl with Octopi floating on a cream colored background. I love that even though this fabric is both fun & funky but it’s also quite pretty – it almost looks like the blue octopi were painted on. When my husband (whose mother is Chinese) saw it, he said it reminded him of Chinese vases from his childhood.  The blue is both bright and muted at the same time.  It is darker than cobalt but not as dark as navy.

We are pairing the octopus fabric with a slate blue canvas. It’s the same slate that was on Tula’s Forest House carrier. The carriers all come with a slate canvas hood as well.

Here’s a closeup of the fabric.  The blue looks brighter and darker in different lights, so this one is slightly darker than the picture Tula took (above) which was taken in bright day.

For the accessories, we’ve got this paired with fabric from Cotton + Steel’s basic collection, Velvet Ribbon. This is a bright red/orange with cream Xs pm it. The suck pads and hood both reverse to the Velvet Ribbon fabric.

All the accessories are sewn by the fabulously detail-oriented Cindy Bartimus from Barti Boutique.

This Tula will be priced at $165 for Standard size and $185 for Toddler size.  There will be the option to purchase Standards bundled with suck pads ($190) with suck pads + hood ($220).  Some toddlers with be bundled with hoods for $215.

Exact release date is still being determined but we anticipate it happening next week, hopefully November 1-3 or so.
