With babywearing families growing more numerous every year, there is no shortage of great Halloween costumes you can do while babywearing! If you have your own Halloween costume ideas, enter them into our photo contest (see below for details).
Here are a few fun ideas from around the web.
Mamma’s Milk has a fun gallery of DIY ideas, like this Superman cutie-pie in a red pouch (at left) and a super-easy-yet dramatic Peacock costume. These are all for pouches/ring slings but can be easily adapated to work with other carriers as well.
Martha Stewart has a few ideas as well (of course, doesn’t she always?). I love this mama/baby spider costume- add a black mei tai or buckle carrier and you’re all set!
Owl in a Tree costume, by Bre from Humpty was Pushed. Super cute! Follow the link for instructions on making the beanie.
Yoda on Luke’s back – great for mom or dad! You can buy the Yoda hat, although this one looks hand-knitted (wow!). Check out the post at Benzilla for dad Ben Towle’s Luke costume.
Do you have a great idea for a Halloween costume, or a particularly cute execution of a classic idea? We’d love to hear about it!
