No, the Ergobaby carrier isn’t meant to be worn facing forward and yes, people do it all the time! Here’s a shot of Camila Alves making the ERGO work for daughter Vida Alves McConaughey (8 months). I carried my baby facing forward until she was old enough to face me with her legs v-Ed on either side of my waist. The legs should not be separated until that time. Also I think they say they should not face forward because if they did push up with their feet they could fall if the wearer isn’t anticipating this issue. However a person wears their baby the benefits are endless.
