Ok, I’m way behind on posting about this video, which went viral right around the holidays. Better late than never, though, cause I can’t pass this one up! Created by Leigh Pennebaker, an artist and mom of two, this video tied for first place in a contest run by Adventures in Babywearing. First prize was a luxe sling by Sakura Bloom, one of my favorite companies that someday (mark my words) we WILL stock!
If you’re a mom and you wear your baby, you’re going to love this. Yeah, it’s silly, but that’s what’s so great about it! These mamas don’t take themselves too seriously! Plus, I myself can’t imagine wearing heels like this even before I had kids. Much less dancing in them! Not to mention with my child. Or looking this good while doing it.
The movie Hangover is getting tons of buzz, and rightly so, since it’s hilarious! Now you can show your love for the movie and babywearing at the same time. Available at NerdyShirts (at press time, this was backordered by about two weeks, so it seems others are loving it, too!
The SlingLady has to love a “rap” video with a babywearing Daddy in it. And I do!This video from Casual Mafia is well-made, funny, and reminds me of my husband.Okay, so the “dad” is wearing a doll (and don’t get me started on the position of that Bjorn – since it’s notreal baby, I’m taking a break for Father’s Day).
The home page to this Japanese baby carrier site makes me laugh every time! Roll your mouse over the slings and watch the babies pop up. Is there something wrong with me that I can do this over and over again?
